Hi,
These are what i have come up with so far
i) Check the bootloader you have installed using your
distro specific package manager. However, it does'nt
work if you have installed both.
ii) Adding a pipe to sayam's solution.
head /dev/hdx |strings | egrep -i (^gr|li)
optional:
head /dev/hdx |strings | grep -i -e ^gr
head /dev/hdx |strings | grep -i -e ^li
Subhamoy i think adding the "-i" (case insensitive
option) will give you the output.
