Dear Dipankar,

I have seen your site many times, and downloaded and read the first
chapter of the book. Now I think you have uploaded the rest of it. I shall
look at it. Think that was the best book I have seen on computing in
Indian language in recent times.

I am very much willing to see the thek. Hopefully next time I would be
able to visit the thek.

Though I don't understand what OT means, but looking at Sankarshan or
Inranil's respose I understand that this is regarding the publicity. Let
me tell you that it was my pleasure to publish the article on Ankur bangla
and GLT. I have written a small introduction myself on Indic computing or
rather localization. I shall be glad if you read the broadsheet and
comment on it.

Few months back I saw some one has written that he wants to do video
editing on Linux machine and asked for help. I am sure if we can generate
support for such requests along with your and ankur bangla's efforts Linux
will provide a new context to conmputing outside the domain of commercial
standardization of computing practice.

In Khetro broadsheet we try to argue for this context whether it is
computing or media work using low end camera, designing tactical media
labs with cheap machines and creative softare.

I think it is a challenge for all of us to create this context. Other wise
Microsoft and NDTV will always rule over GNU or shlash dot or indymedia.

Best wishes
Joy
