This is probably way [OT] and Indranil would probably give me a severe reprimand.
By now all of us have seen that major sites ask the user to input a string based on a distorted image of the same (alphanumeric) string. This is part of a security measure against bots.
I guess that sometime back MIT had a research project on this which actually spawned this usage. Could anyone provide pointers to URLs relating to this tool ?
