Hi All: <WARNING> This is seriously off topic, so my advanced apologies. Do not read further if you do not want to read about non-GNU/Linux issues. ;) <WARNING/> ----- Can anyone in the group lend me/copy for me a copy of the statistical software package STATA? I am teaching a course on doing time series analysis this December in Delhi. I will teach the group/class how to do time series analysis using R - a free implementation of GNU S packages on a linux machine. However, one of the co-faculty members asked me _to show_ how R differs from STATA, another popularly used statistical package.
I do not have STATA, nor do I have access to a copy of the program at the time. Hence the request. However, would greatly appreciate if any of you may have access to a copy of the program and get me one. STATA used to have free download copies on their website (http://www.stata.com), but they have stopped distributing them. Please respond to me off-list. TIA, /Arin Basu __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
