Dear Arindam: Inspite of the <WARNING> i could not resist writing this mail. I too am on lookout for a statistical software for my Ph.D. work but AFAIK Stata is a purely commercial product licensed on per user and/or site basis. As such asking for a copy for demonstration amounts to ILLEGAL Distribution and use. This is seriously OT in a group which has always supported license and their wording be it GPL or LGPL or Commercial or Freeware.
The best i can help you with is with a beta & freeware copy of another statsitical program KyPlot from http://www.woundedmoon.org/win32_freeware.html Regards RVK ----- Original Message ----- From: Arindam Basu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wednesday, November 24, 2004 6:31 pm Subject: [ilug-cal] [OT] Request for Stata > Hi All: > > <WARNING> This is seriously off topic, so my advanced > apologies.
