I have installed FC3 on AthlonXP 2400,256DDR,Asus a7v8XN motherboard with all packages without any error. The CD set were purchased from a site. I have FC3 CDs from SankarshanDa, but I have not used it yet.

Sankarshan gave GLT FC3 installer CD-s. Before giving it to anyone else, i tried to install it in my machine. Installation aborted with some error messages. Before giving those error messages, let me specify, two SuSE-s, 8.2 and 9.1 are running on my machine, together with a win-ME. Two HDs, 40 GB each. Athlon 2000+ XP, A7N266VM Motherboard. And the filesystems on different partitions are XFS, Reiser, Ext2 and Vfat.
The error messages pointed towards some partition table error in some partion-geometry function. These Bug Messages collected from both <Ctrl- F7> and <Ctrl-F5>.
Parted Exceptions Bug:
Assertion (heads < 256) at disk_dos.c: 486 in function probe_partition_for_geom() failed
Assertion ((C * heads + H) * sectors + S == A) at disk_dos.c: 495 in function probe_partition_for_geom() failed
Assertion (heads > 0) at disk_dos.c: 485 in function probe_partion_for_geom() failed
Assertion (sectors <= 63) at disk_dos.c: 490 in function probe_partion_for_geom() failed
