I think one topic on which Prof. Saha probably can give a talk is on grid 
computing. Lots of work is going on in the subject to make supercomputing 
affordable and to break the distance barrier (One fine example is [EMAIL 
PROTECTED]). I would personally always enjoy a talk on Scientific computing 
(that's being my primary cause of association with linux), which may include 
topics like gsl, lapack, blas, quadpack and fftpack to name a few. Also 
packages like octave, scilab etc can be discussed.
