HI All:

No word of praise/appreciation is sufficient for you
who are regularly attending the book fair, braving
your everyday chores and studies, and work and
showing/demonstrating the power of linux to people
coming there. Guys, you are doing the best that is
possible!

All of you deserve rousing ovations at the next
ilug-cal face to face meet. Tremendous work!

One point though about a little pow-wow with amaar pc
folks. The last time I checked, they were promoting
windows for their machines. Like their low end laptops
were imported from taiwan and assembled in their
Konnagar workshop (?am I right?). Those machines were
cheap, kind of targeted at entry level users,
students, and so on, but they were kind of favored for
Windows -- gave up on them trying to preach them about
distributing Linux, at the risk of sounding like a
cranky peddler.

That said, guess this is as good as op as any to
induct the amaar pc folks to provide linux (whichever
flavor), as their default OS to the new customers.
And, change the older ones from Win to Linux, or at
least, dual boot.

Takers?

/Arin
