you can forward the display of the server in this way:
log on to the server using ssh
give the following command:

xinit -- /usr/X11R6/bin/Xnest :1

if X11 forwarding is enabled on your ssh server, you should see the
desktop of the server on your desktop.

NOTE:

I am assuming that you are already running X on you RHL9 machine
