Need some help...
->. Does anybody know to extract a single line and
store it in a variable thorough shell command.....Plz
tell me...
->. I had gone through the shell tutorial and found
may commands..like cat, head, tail...also i used
awk...but none of them had a facility of storing the
result in a variable...
->. the above commands displayed the result on the
console. but i dont know how to store it in a
variable...
Plz ..reply me.....
