in /etc/named.conf. Indra was talking about running a
trivial DNS server on the localhost. Read up on the

I'm not sure how pppoe functions but there would
definitely be a way to your changes persistant. One,
brute force method, I can think of is marking the
immutable bit on the file /etc/resolv.conf (What !!
You gotta be kidding, You actually did that. This was
supposed to be a joke ;) ) This would most probably
break your current pppoe scripts. In that case, you
need to dig more into the ppp(oe) manpages.
