Hi All: Saturday evening is just fine. My place is at the Guru Tegh Bahadur Medical Center,at 11 DL Khan Road.
Location: DL Khan Road is the road that connects race course and zoo garden/national library. The nearest landmark is the Bangur Institute of Neurology, on the backside of PG Hospital (IPGMER). You can take the flyover if you will be coming from Salt Lake (the AJC Bose flyover), and then turn left on to DL Khan Road. There are several buses that go to the area, but I am not sure of the bus routes. You can call the Tegh Bahadur Hospital (phone number: 22239020) to get the bus routes. Metro: the nearest metro stop is "Rabindra sadan" metro station. Get down at the IPGMER/PG Hospital end and walk to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital (I usually walk). Finally, if you know the crossing of Harish Mukherjee Road and Elgin Road (the gurudwara and the intoxicating tea stall of Balwant Singh), just ask anyone around for guru tegh bahadur hospital, and you will be on your way.
