Technically speaking... you can definitely do that... but do u have
anybody to vouch for the fact, that you are really you??? for that u
need others to sign your key... to create what is called the
web-of-trust.

A long time back, we had tried to organise a gpg key signing party that
didnt materialize... won't be a bad idea to try one now.
