The recipes available for tcl/tk allow for authentic prototypes. But it can be 
modified to make it look otherwise. Generally a screen mock-up should appear 
different from a real application window and in particular in electronic 
documents.

There is this "mockscreen" s/w (proprietary shareware) for M$ 
(mockscreens.com). It is based on the fox toolkit. Exactly this kind of s/w 
is not available for Linux. But making it should be easy. Kdesigner is for 
real applications.
