M$ deserves to win the FAT patent. After all that's the only piece of
code ever invented by Mr. $ Gates.
What next? Xerox will get patent for X-windows?
But what are the implication of this on Linux? Will it mean, Linux with
FAT support has to pay fee to M$ ?

still want to keep it their primary fs. Fat is no good as a filesystem or
otherwise. The project is going to release its version 1.0 anytime now. (I
