I can provide our total class room with 12 machines all are P-IV
(2.66GHz,256MB,40GBSATA) with full internet connectivity and if required
our conference room generally used for RHEL4 over network installation.
I will try my best manage our conference room, but there is no computer
and only laptops will best fit there. I also have many Ubuntu CDs
What more does one require for a startup meeting?

I think this setup is good enough, legalities are some thing one who is in control can better answer. Somebody said god created universe and devil created rules.

Since time is short, let us finalize on the venue/time/agenda without any further discussion. Let us freeze the date and time as 4/3/06 6:00PM. Location of the venue is important. After all it should be reachable by majority of interested members. If this classroom is workable. Let us finalize it and inform its location/direction for reaching it (both by public & private transport)

My proposal for Agenda:
1. Popularizing Linux - making Linux interesting to non-techies
2. Linux in School
3. Project proposal and team formation
4. Regular interaction
5. Registering Linux-Kolkata
6. Forming a constitution for Linux-Kolkata
