Hello,
The meeting lasted for nearly 1hr and 30mins. Below are the main
conclusion/points of the meeting, also there are few things which still
need
to be discussed and the opinion of the iLug-cal members is solicited on
them.

1. Sayamindu somewhere within Tuesday will email Surendra Singhi and
Anirban
Biswas, the db dump of the current website. It is currently very heavily
infested with spam, and Surendra Singhi and Anirban Biswas, either by
some
automated means or manually, try to clean it up.

Question to the members:
In case, cleaning up the db is not feasible, what should be done?
Prashant
Verma suggested starting *afresh*. Gmane already has an archive of the
mailing
list. If the DB contains some older mails should, his proposal be
accepted?

2. Anirban Biswas will try integrating User.module with the latest
version of
Drupal. Since, he is already occupied with cleaning the DB, if other
developers want to contribute/help/hack, they are welcome.

Anirban Biswas and Sayamindu can clarify further questions on this.

3. Once item [1] is resolved, Sayamindu will take care of updating to
the
latest version of Drupal on the web-server. In case some server settings
need
to be changed Sayamindu will communicate with Russell McOrmond and fix
that.

4. Sayamindu will create Drupal admin user accounts, and content
contributor
account for the following people:

1. Soumyadip Modak (admin)
2. Surendra Singhi (admin)
3. J. P. Mathew
4. A. Mani
5. Anirban Biswas

5. In case, iLug-cal wants to control the ftp access to the web-server,
then
Russell McOrmond should be contacted for that. Right now, Sayamindu is
the
only person who has this control, and he is not authorized to give the
right.

For members (reading between the lines):
I don't know exactly what where the reasons behind registering
www.ilug-cal.info , but if the members of iLug-cal feel (which IMO they
should) that iLug-cal should have this power of controlling the ftp
access to
the site, and also the domain, then Russell McOrmond should be
contacted. I
will suggest that some senior member of iLug-cal contacting him, and
then
getting the power to deputize or controlling the web server space and
the
domain. Or getting the power of deputizing for Sayamindu (if he agrees).

6. Also, get a mailing list setup for discussing issues related to the
website maintenance. Sayamindu, will take care of this.

If I misconstrued something discussed in the meeting, or if I missed
some
point, then please post it as a followup.

Thanks.
