Dear All
I have just visited our urls ilug-tvm.org and
http://groups.google.com/group/ilug-tvm?hl=en then I felt, we lack a clear cut
objective (it is really alarming).

If we pass through the activities we as the community have successfully
completed for last two years

 Install Fests & freedom talks

Both are meant to add more users for the GNU/linux OS. If we look at four
marvelous freedoms offered by the Free Software(
http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html) we as a community accomplished
certain extent both first and third.

Personally I believe second and third freedoms are equally important and that
is futuristic.

Now we should think in that aspect also ie.how to contribute to the free
software projects or commence a new one.

Why I am writing this mail is due to the comment made by one of our volunteer
during the post conference (fsfs.in) discussion, Anoop J Thomas said that
"we(ilug-tvm) should start an open project for commons", He was really exited
and inspired by the eminent speakers and also being a part of a successful
conference.

An advantage we are having is most our community members are students.

After three year if we look back what we achieved during past 5 years , should
not only be install fests and lectures.

What is next?
