I used to have Gtalk installed in my Windows machine to voice chat with my friends. After moving over to Linux the first thing I did was search for a similar application. I did get a few good ones like Pidgin bur unfortunately it did not have voice support. I also tried Empathy and I came very close to having accomplished the feat. Finally I tried installing Gtalk using Wine but post installation the interface looked bad and it wouldn't authorise my account.
I tried skype but couldn't get all my friends to install it.Is there a way around it? Thanks in advance Binny --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ "Freedom is the only law".
