If you have not yet solved the problem, please see if you have first inserted a default header or footer. Then you will get a space where you can put your cursor and insert page number (Insert > Header/Footer > Default). You can also align it to the left, right or centre. You can then click Insert > Fields > Page Number to insert page number. To set a style for a page, press F11 and the style dialog box will open. select the Page Style option and select a style for the page. Right click on the Style, select the Organiser tab and select the style for the next page. You can modify the style by right clicking on the style in the Style dialog box and selecting modify.
