Guys, we do have a definitive solution to the problem!! We've figured out a
couple of people who could volunteer with the linux installation. But
basically what we're looking forward to is a breakthrough into the thinking
level of the students at mbcet, rather than a free software distribution.
Unless and until everyone, at least the CS and IT guys are aware of what
Free Open Source is, there is no point in simply conducting an install fest.
There are people who use linux among us, and they are ready to help us out.
We are in a developing stage and hence our foremost importance would be
towards FOSS education/public awareness. We can carry out the install fest
either way.
We are ready to provide all amenities for conducting the install fest,
including a 10x10 ft. stall creation, power supply and other basic
amenities. We expect you to help us in this unique venture.

We approached CDAC on a similar thread, and they have offered to conduct a
seminar, as well as put up a stall and feature their multi language open
source OS, BOSS, at Crossroads. We consider that as an added advantage.

We expect a positive response from Zyxware as soon as possible. :)
