Yes. I have tried the live versions, viz., 5.1.8.1, 6.0 and 6.0.9. I have even made my own slax 5.1.8.1 CD incorporating Opera, OpenOffice.org, Firefox, etc., using 'Myslax creator' from Win98. It is stable and really good.
