Install latest nightly build of vlc, so that you can play Windows
Media streams as well (you can try old vlc also).

The streams I listen are

Hit FM 96.7 (my favorite) http://asx.abacast.com/arabian_radio-hitfm-64.asx
Asianet 1269 AM http://64.38.56.172:443/RAAM
Some Tamil FM (it used to be Oxygen FM) http://64.38.56.172:443/RAFM

see http://radioasiauae.com/new/radioasia/

Then you can get Radio Kerala and Space for Radio at
http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/search_results.jsp?searchCrit=simple&s=Malayalam

(they keep changing locations, so you have to visit this site often)
There is also some Christian Radio there.
