Hi All i recently installed Debina5.0 on my low end SyStem at Office (128 MB RAM, 40 G, Pentium 3 2.0ghZ). It was from a XCE-LXDE installation CD. md5sums were alright.
At the end of the installation, I wanted to connect Intranet connection at Office, but I could not find any networking menu! I tried apt-get install network-admin, it says pakcage not found. Since it is not a DSL connection, pppoeconf did not work. I want tot establish a wired connection with normal protocols, IP address , Subnet mask, Default gateway, DNS servers.
