Hi, I installed ubuntu 8.04 on cq 40-108 TU . I am not able to hear sound properly, when I try to open a music file, i hear humming sound and sounds that I never heard before. Some times I can restart Gnome and some times a cold boot is required to get out. i think its a driver failure. Also on this laptop mp3 codes are not installed by default When I installed ubuntu on my PC, everything was fine.
