How is the internet configured? Is the modem connected to NIC Card or
USB?
If it is configured with DHCP, (with pon dsl-provider command for
opening net connection),
can you try configuring it with network configuration using IP
addresses, gateway and DNS servers
after getting it from Asianet? I myself use only BSNL broadband , so
any specific steps I am unable to explain reg Asianet.
Can you try the above if possible
