On June 4, 2009 (yesterday), Intel announced that it'd be buying
WindRiver (makers of VxWorks and WindRiver Linux operating systems) for
about $884M.
On a Linux note, WindRiver is also the maker of WindRiver Linux and had
acquired FSMLab's RTLinux which is now re-branded as Wind River
Real-Time Core.
