i got it resolved by changing gstreamer-properties video set to Xserver no XV mode VLC still gives me error. Now i can figure out that the problem is with video driver. ( Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
i am having other errors like cursor moves to other part of the screen while typing. i need to figure out if this is a hardware malfunction.
