I have no idea what exactly you are looking for. However, I will suggest some more topics I found interesting: 1. Offloading processing from CPU to GPU (openCL, CUDA, PhysX) 2. Multiprocessor architectures and programming challenges: Core/X2- SMP, Opteron - NUMA, Cell BE - ASMP 3. The Completely Fair Scheduler of Linux kernel (it takes an unusual but intuitive approach). 4. Demise of FSB and rise of Hypertransport / QuickPath interconnect IO buses: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/610 5. Cyber security analysis tools (aka hacking tools) and techniques (overview): wireshark (sniffer), aircrack (WEP cracker - uses the interesting concept of packet injection and cryptanalysis), netcat (called network swiss knife) and a lot of others. You should really checkout backtrack distro. Regards, Gokul Das --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ "Freedom is the only law".
