Hi, @ Santhosh chettan: Just asking out of curiosity. What does conversion from ASCII to Unicode mean? As far as I know, UTF-8 is backward compatible with ASCII. Since there is reference about Malayalam there, I am taking a wild guess that this is conversion from 7-bit Malayalam coding (used by Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Karthika, et al) to Unicode. Am I right? If so, use of word ASCII is really confusing.
