You can add the script in session preferences. goto System>Preferences>Sessions and at the Startup programs add the path to the script. eg: python /home/user/test.py
But you need to add it to each user manually. For this thing. Or else you add launchers to this folder manually in root mode. /usr/share/gnome/autostart So that each everyone is affected.
