If FSF had been prepared to compromise on freedom, there would have been no free software. Imagine, if freedom fighters like Gandhiji or Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela had been willing to compromise on freedom, the respective peoples would still have been under the yoke of oppression. These are principles on which there cannot be compromise. Unfortunately, we are used to a world where we see people willing to compromise on anything so long as they benefit. Best -- V.
