Thanks for the link. I tried 'sudo apt-get install gnome-shell' in ubuntu
9.04. But it doesn't worked. I tried to install it using the step mentioned
in the link that you have provided. But wget command is failing with message
'wget: unable to resolve host address `git.gnome.org''

Any other thoughts?
