Sorry that does not work for me...
Yes! i had installed koala only before a week.I did not have to read
any blog or instructions to try out the above steps( it is user
friendly... i could figure it out).But then when i tried to connect it
did not work.
I still use wvdial because of advantages like autoreconnect..

Here is what happens with network manager:
-When i click to connect:
-the icon shows as if searching for a network.
-My phone gets connected to the system
-The Phone gets connected internet..(the symbol for edge gets rounded)
-I accesing net through firefox,it fails(though no network connection
is indicated by the applet)
-After a minute or so the Network manager shows "network disconnected"


1)Empathy does not detect Internet connection therefore i cannot log
in. i installed pidgin which had same issue(but gets OK after
enabling&disabling accounts).

2)*IS THERE ANY REPORTABLE BUGS IN MY ABOVE PROBLEMS*??
