I tried to install Mandy2010 on my new Compaq CQ40-641TU .. installation was successful but after the first boot, Mandy stopped booting on this step
Starting Udev:- it stalled here.... So I tried some work around like disabling ACPI etc.. it worked once.. just got booted and i got the gnome. But after I fired the POWEROFF command.. System went of but the power did not of.. I mean the screen was still glowing, just showing msg, "system halt".. Next time I tried to boot, Mandy again stucked on Starting Udev step. I tried same ACPI workaround. but no use.. what to do?? any idea for a fix?? Is there SATA driver already in Mandriva2010?? -- Life is NOT Free!!!
