I recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 in my computer. I enabled
rotate cube in compiz fusion, and assigned mouse scroll for rotating
the desktops. But the cube is rotated even when I'm not scrolling on
the desktop. For instance, when I want to scroll down a text editor
and scroll the mouse button, the whole cube is rotated rather than the
text editor action.
How can I fix this override?
Try this:
Open CompizConfig Settings Manager> Viewport Switcher> Desktop-based
Viewport switching
Disable the settings for 'Mouse next' and 'Mouse prev'. Those are the
settings for mouse scroll.
This will however, remove the rotate-on-scroll effect.
Choose wisely!
