It can be solved only by completely disabling the cube rotation using scroll, right? I was asking whether we can use 'scroll on desktop to rotate' and still use 'scroll inside windows without switching the workspace'. It worked so in earlier Ubuntu versions. The bug occurs from 9.04 onwards i guess.
