It can be solved....
I have the same problem with my linux mint 6....
and i solved it...
But now am using mint 8 ...
and i hadn't enabled any visual effects as my graphics card driver is not
installed...
anyway try it out....
U can solve it....
I hope...as I done it in linux mint 6....
