Hi all! It was a success!! Although we didn't attract *much* attention of the students( It was expected!), *we could convince the management especially the H.O.D. of the IT dept to convert all systems to Linux*.They were pretty enthusiastic about it. This is especiialy good for the management as they have to spend a lot of money on proprietary software licensing.
*Many Thanks to Sooraj Kenoth of Zyxware who assembled the Toaster and demo systems, Dhananjay for providing valuable support with his Acer, Ashik Salaudin ( I hope I got your name correct:-)), George who was the mastermind behind everything and finally all the other members of Zyxware Tech and ilug users who helped us in our small endaevour.* Now the only thing to do is to make sure they keep their promises!!
