Sorry, the exact answer is to shut off *background color*/ *image* printing.
I dint read the question clearly.if the *print as image* option is clicked
on, revert it to *print as text*. U wont be able to activate the earlier
option if print as image is on.
*Print as image* is never advisable, untill there is remarkable difference
in what you see on monitor is absolutely not what you get. *Print as
image*prints text as doted images instead of rock solid fonts.

If your document is in image format, without any text recognized by PDF, the
earlier post would defenitely be of help.
