Dear all,
We are facing a strange problem with our school printer, Canon LBP
3000. It works well on Window$ platform, by installing the drivers which
Canon provides. In Linux, we refered http://is.gd/c4qdO to configure it
on Ubuntu 9.10. The strange issue is that it works well, only for the
first print job soon after the installation. All further jobs are shown
as "pending". After each boot, one should follow the steps given in that
blog to print a document again. Could you please find a permanent
solution for this? The school principal is very fond of Linux and he
uses it for all his official and home purpose, hence it would be a nice
help to him if we are able to fix this problem.

Thanks,
Ershad
