If you installed complete gstreamer package (good,ugly,bad) you must get sound for amr and 3gp(audio in 3gp is amr), your system must support amr files. You can also install SMplayer/Mplayer amr codec from Medubuntu repo. I had some problems with 3gp/amr in 9.10. Now I'm using 10.04. Now I don't have any problem.
