Hi, I know the title sounds awkward in this group, but the reason is that * a friend of mine who had installed Vista in his lap has realised that some rootkit has gained access to his system and has got control over 20 GB of his HDD space and most probably taken over his MBR. *He wanted a solution and came to me and being the guy that* *I am*, suggested him to remove VIsta and install Linux*. However I have never bothered to use Vista,I dont even know how it looks so dont know what to expect!
*So if anyone has ever tried to remove Vista and install Linux please give me their tips. *I always wanted to convert him to Linux :-). *P.S.
