After the discussion with Thomas Mani Sir we fixed an introduction
session on 9th June 2010, Tuesday (Tomorrow) between 2pm and 4pm.

Schedule:

2.00 - Welcome Speech

2.10pm - 2.30pm - Introduction to Free Software and User group. An
inspiring speech and the presentation - Anoop John

2.30pm - 3.15pm - How to get started - Installation of Latest
i...@school(Prepared by i...@school teacher based on Ubuntu 9.10) and Dual
booting. - Santhosh Raju

3.15pm-3.50pm - Introduction to some commonly used Free Software
Educational tools - demonstration of tux paint, GIMP, GuidoVanRobot,
 Gcompris etc.

3.50-4.00pm - Open discussion, Closing session.

Prasad SR already did a great job. He has done a document which
covers Ubuntu basics for students. But is is based on its latest
version 10.04. But i...@shool will be based on 9.10.  The book is
compatible for 9.10 too. It available at
