Is there any way to use a '*Home directory*' stored in the hard disk/usb drive as the '*Home directory*' for a live Ubuntu instance?
*Intention: *I would like to retain the preferences of my applications like Mozilla, Terminal and other UI tweaks while using a live CD across other systems. So it would very handy, if I could set the path of a '*Home directory*' stored in some media during boot-up of a Live CD. *Similar question: *Is there anyway to create a *Ubuntu* live CD (not Knoppix) with a '*Home directory*' already stored in it so that it will retain all the preferences on boot-up? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. JW -- "Freedom is the only law".
