friend if you are using a latest version of ubuntu or linux mint you can use either the built in blue tooth manager or blueman to pair your device with your laptop- Then go to network manager -choose mobile broadband.then the name of your phone will be shown.then choose the country.,operator and your connection plan.if your plan is not listed just enter the apn in appropriate column.
