I have both, windows XP and Linux mint, installed in my computer and
have a dataone connection (Siemens ADSL modem- C 2110). When I boot
directly to Mint, it shows
"Auto Etho
Connection Established".
But actually I am not connected!! I cannot load any web pages.
But, when I boot to Windows and connect to Internet from there and
reboot to linux with the modem ON, I have the connection working! Now
if the connection drops or if the modem is switched OFF, I have to
connect through Windows to have the connection working in linux.
Please help me solve this issue...
