Dear all, I have been trying very hard to convince a friend of mine to use Ubuntu. However he always finds some faults with it. The last time I ran Ubuntu on his system, it did not have gtalk. Now since that has been solved, the new roadblock is now the sound quality. Although he admits that Ubuntu gives a better dose of Bass to his Sound-blaster there is a significant amount of static in the audio (The audio is very fuzzy). I have to admit that he is right.
Is there a solution to this problem in Ubuntu 10.04? Regards, Binny K Thomas -- Move to Linux. Know why. http://binny88.wordpress.com -- "Freedom is the only law".
