Now the issue solved.
Thanks to Abhishek Mathur.
The procedure which I followed is .

Extracted the .deb file (Abhishek Mathur helped in this).
Placed all the files in the data folder .
Rebooted the system .
Configured the Network manager with new wireless connection .
Wireless type I specified to any .
Copy the resolv.conf file to /etc/.
restart the network manger .
Connect .

If the GUI is working (The default one BSNL provides for Ubuntu) I can make
calls and send sms too.
I am missing the facility :-)
