To me, it appears that the line thickness is too small, and that is why it appears very light. I am not sure this is the case, perhaps you could verify. The colour is black by default, so unless you have changed it, it should remain so. I think the problem in using it in a presentation is that the thin lines that may print well may not appear good in a presentation because of the bright background. In gnuplot, one can change the line thickness, though I will have to check how to do it since I have not used gnuplot for a long time now. But I am not sure whether you can do that from octave. If you can use native gnuplot commands from octave, it should be possible. Can you please try this and tell us the result? Regards Sasi -- V.
